TCS Keep-Alive® (KA) devices are used to supply power to decoders during times of power interruption due to dirty track or problematic track work.

Newly-redesigned with a smaller overall footprint, the KA2 will power HO or N scale locomotives with approx. 30% of the capacitance of KA3/KA4 devices (depending on the locomotive and motor).

KA2 will power an HO-Scale locomotive with headlights on for approximately 6 to 12 seconds (depending on the locomotive and the efficiency of the motor).

This Keep-Alive® includes a 2-Pin Quick Connector Harness with which to attach it to a decoder.
