Model Overview: Eight colorful paint schemes are being offered in this run of FGE wood refrigerator cars. Three have been previously offered by InterMountain with five schemes being offered for the first time, including three road numbers that were preserved by several railroad museums. Fruit Growers Express built their own reefers to service several partnering railroads. Many of these cars could be seen all over the US and Canada. Transporting perishable freight from apples from the Pacific Northwest to Beer out of Colorado and Oranges from Florida, these cars were everywhere!
