Blackstone Models has announced that a new run of their superbly detailed HOn3 narrow gauge D&RGW 30ft refrigerator cars will be released soon. This new release will be based on the prototypes after they were rebuilt by the D&RGW in 1926, which included new Murphy roofs, altered needle beams, and larger icebox hatches. Other model details include hardware color, reporting marks, order placards, and herald placement specific to each road number. These ready-to-run models will be available with freshly shopped American Refrigerator Transit (ART) Yellow sides, and Boxcar Red roof and end sills.
