Athearn's new run of these models in HO Scale in their Genesis line promises to be a splendid addition to any modern layout or collection. Equipped with Genesis' excellent, smooth-running drive train and thoroughly covered with prototypical details, these will be models you will proudly display.

  • Norfolk Southern in Ex-Conrail Blue Patch

Also announced in the Athearn N Scale line, the EMD SD70 will be offered in an even longer list of available road names and paint schemes. These locomotives will be offered in standard DC and will include see-through cab windows, factory installed Celcon handrails, a 5-pole motor with precision-machined flywheels and multi-link drive train for trouble free operation. There will also be illuminated front and rear headlights and nickel-plated, blackened, machined wheels with wheel contours that operate on all popular brand of track. They will be DCC Ready, but a board replacement decoder is required (available separately).
