- The LR101 sends information back to the command station, such as occupancy of a block or activation of a contact.
- Information stored in the command station can be accessed by any unit linked to the XpressNet, for example the Hand Held LH100, the Tower Cab LW100 or by software through the Computer Interface LI-USB.
- The command station polls all connected Feedback Encoder LR101 in series. This process lasts approximately 30 msec. Only the LR101 encoders with a change in status are transmitting information back to the command station.
- A transmission from an LR101 needs app. 2 msec, which adds to the polling time. The length of the total cycle is therefore dependent on the number of status changes.
