HO Alco RS3-M “Chop Nose” Delaware and Hudson Locomotive

Up next in Bowser's quest to reproduce every RS-3 variation! Between December, 1975 and March, 1976 the Delaware & Hudson commissioned Morrison-Knudsen to rebuild eight ALCo RS-3 diesels in order to extend their useful lifespan. They received new 12-251C prime movers and the long hood was raised by six inches to accommodate the larger engine. The short hood was also lowered and dynamic brakes were added in the box directly behind the cab. This gave these locomotives a unique appearance. Bowser's model is based on their previous RS-3 models and will be highly detailed. Available in three different D&H paint schemes and also WNYP! These models are available as Standard DC or with ESU LokSound DCC Sound installed at the factory.
