Hey guys. I have the older PSX4 that worked great for years when I had an ESU command station. But I swapped that out for a Dijikies DR5000 and the booster now trips faster than the PSX4. Per your suggestion I have purchased two new PSXX2 and am ready to program them. I am not a great programer so please be patient.

PSXX using daisey chain wiring from one PSXX to the next PSXX via the J1 input terminal

I need to set the PSXX to trip speed to under 250 ms. which is the slowest speed I can program into the DR5000. I read your PSXX manual and I see how to adjust trip current for amps, which I don’t think is the problem. But I can’t seem to find the trip speed.  Best regards ......................David B

Using the PSXX, you don't need to set the delay time, it is done automatically based on the set trip current. At the default current setting of 2 amperes, the trip delay is 93 ms, well under your 250ms requirement, and remember the current remains at 2 amperes while this delay is counting down, so the booster should not even see excess current. The delay becomes shorter as you increase the trip current, so all should be good.

The maximum possible delay time for the older PSX is about 32ms and the default is much less than that. If the PSX is not tripping before your DR5000 booster, then the DR5000 is not waiting 250ms before shutting off. As an aside, the default delay time on the older PSX is around 2 ms (CV65=24)
