Athearn made a surprise announcement of a new paint scheme in their highly sought-after Norfolk Southern HO Scale EMD SD60E: the GoRail #6963. Its eye-catching black, white, neon green & blue paint scheme is guaranteed to stand out on your layout! This model will have all the excellent prototypical Genesis details, all LED lighting and the super-smooth Genesis drivetrain. It will be available in DC as well as equipped with Tsunami2 Sound & DCC. We expect  huge interest in this model, so don't delay in placing your pre-order!

Athearn has also announced a 2nd run of the very popular "First Responders" NS SD60E #9-1-1. The 1st run was sold out pretty much as soon as it hit dealer shelves, so we highly recommend placing your pre-order early to guarantee yours!

Also available from Athearn in two upcoming runs are several of their Genesis SD60E locomotives in Norfolk Southern's classic black & white "Thoroughbred" paint.
