1. Connect a 9v battery + to J1-11 and the - to J1-10. Almost any voltage source between 5 and 12 VDC should work. 
  2. Connect the one white wire from the gate pole to J2-5. 
  3. One by one, connect the remaining wires to J2-1 and note which flasher lamp lights up. 
  4. If it is a right-hand lamp, mark the wire (e.g. use nail polish or paint to provide a color marking. 
  5. Left light wires connect to J2- and J2-2. 
  6. Right light wires go to J2-7 and J2-8. 
  7. With battery common connected to J1-11 and battery - connected to J1-10, all left flasher lamps should come on. 
  8. With the battery - moved to J1-12 all the right flasher lamps should come on.
