Lenz has lowered the bar on HO Decoder pricing with the introduction of the LE1000W, 1 Amp, 1 Function (Headlite or Other), "Value Line" Decoder. Is this the start of another "Decoder War" that generated decoder
pricing reductions industry wide?
We are pleased to announce a new line of low cost decoders which we call "value-line" decoders.
This line of decoders will have less features, a warranty more in-line with industry practices and an exceptional price! Our purpose of introducing this decoder is to make DCC more affordable for users who do not need all the special features available in higher-end decoders.
Our standard line and our Gold series decoders will continue to have our exceptional "goof proof " warranty and a superior feature set.
The first release in our value-line series is the LE1000W. They are in stock and will begin shipping to dealers this week.
The LE1000W is a 1 A decoder with a single function output and is packaged in singles, dual pack and a 5 pack.
