Having recently purchased a "Tower 55" U boat, which acted up out of the box, I felt knowledge of how to fix the weird goings on might be of use to all. I contacted Digitrax. and quickly we were able to correct the trouble.

Placing the loco on the programming track, program CV8 to 008 using direct mode programming. Exiting the program mode place the loco on the main. Selecting address 03 (the default address) enter ops mode programming, select and enter the address chosen for the loco. Exiting ops mode select the new address. Any other CVs can then be changed in ops mode on the main.
