Broadway SD40-2 and C&O 2-10-4 Shipping

Broadway has released their first modern diesel, the SD 40-2. It has good detailing and the popular QSI sound decoder which features a three-chime horn. User installed Kaydee couplers are supplied, an improvement over prior diesel releases. The SD40-2 weighs in at 1.5 lbs and pulls well.

Broadway also released another striking steam loco, the C&O T1 2-10-4. It comes equipped with a working McHenry plastic knuckle coupler on the front to prevent shorting between locos and a metal Kaydee on the tender. The T1 has excellent detailing, typical of the Broadway Paragon Series releases and will operate on Code 70, 83 and 100 rail, 24" radius is recommended for best results. Two additional sets of drivers are supplied, one with traction tires and the other with flanges to replace the stock blind center driver.

The 2-10-4 is a hefty 2 lbs, pulls well, easily handling 15 cars up 4% grades with a 22 inch radius. The QSI sound system delivers a realistic, bellowing multi chime whistle, big sound for the big loco. C&O fans will be impressed.
