TTE/GP7/30 PLUG "N" PLAY DECODER
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS.
1) Provide or use a suitable insulating
material between locomotive frame and loco socket printed circuits.
2) Bulbs must be changed or lighting
circuit modified to use lights with DCC decoder. Change bulbs to
12-16 volt, 30 ma type. To use existing bulbs install / solder 150
Ohm, ¼ watt resistor in series with either bulb’s lead.
3) Decoder is best mounted so that decoder
pins face down and loco socket faces up. Locate socket circuit board
forward so 4 screw holes on loco frame fall between plastic connectors
on back of socket board.
