SoundTraxx DSX Sound Only DCC Unit.
(due in April 1999)
[see SoundTraxx
page]
Due to popular demand, Throttle Up!'s new DSX Digital
Sound System provides the same state-of-the-art sound effects you've
come to expect from our Digital Sound Decoders in a smaller package
which can be installed in any locomotive or piece of rolling stock.
Add sound to your already decoder-equipped locomotives or install
the DSX in a dummy locomotive...no motor required. The DSX will
behave just like our Digital Sound Decoders, with all the same prototypes
and features. Their tiny size (1.25"x.625"x.25") makes installing
them in some cramped diesels and small narrow gauge steam engines
a piece of cake!

Superb Sound for any Situation
The DSX has all the same great sound features as
our Digital Sound Decoders. If you've already equipped your locomotive
with motor decoders, then adding sound with a DSX is easy and inexpensive.
With a uggested list price of $129.00, you'll have a whole fleet
of living, breathing and roaring locomotives in no time! The DSX
can also be used in decoder-less installations - put one in a box
car with the biggest speakers you can fit for easy onboard sound.
For those who want an all-in-one unit, our Digital Sound Decoders
are the perfect solution. Whichever solution is best for you, you
can be sure that SoundTraxx is your sound expert! See our current
price list for all the available prototypes in both steam and diesel.
