ATSF fans have been waiting for more than 2 years for this classic brute - Broadway Limited AT&SF 2-10-2.

The long awaited Broadway Limited AT&SF 2-10-2 has finally arrived, right out of the box it was clear that, visually, this locomotive has all of the hallmarks that has made Broadway Limited popular.

The first thing that struck me was the cab detailing, the interior cab came complete with gauges and piping cast in and pre-painted engineer and fireman installed. Good detail compliments the entire locomotive.

Operationally the loco was characteristic of the Broadway offerings, reasonable low speed control and good pulling power. A spare driver set with traction tires is also provided.

The QSI equipped sound was rich with good fidelity. As is the case, with most factory settings the volume was too loud. The volume can be easily reduced by using the magnetic wand or programming CVs Cv49=0, CV51=0-127, default is 127 accounting for loudness.

This locomotive as well as all BLI, Atlas and Life-Like Walthers locomotives equipped with the popular QSI DC and DCC Sound Systems can have their performance significantly enhanced by utilizing the QSI Chip Upgrade.
